"Non re-delivery"

I found a card explaining that I had missed a delivery on Wednesday 2/8/17 when I returned home. On Thursday 3/8/17 I phoned the number shown on the card and,I thought, had arranged for a re-delivery on Monday 7/8/17 which never arrived although I remained at home all day to ensure that I did not miss a second delivery! Very unimpressed with this effort. I will now make a journey to collect this item myself to save another possible wasted day awaiting a delivery that may not happen. It annoys me that I have had to pay postage for this item but still have to collect it myself !.
